I just got a new-to-me Mac Mini 2010, and I'm new to the Mac OS. I haven't had any time to really play with it. I've got a collection of pictures and pdf files on my PC that I'd like to move to the Mac. What would be the best method to move my files over? Can I just share the PC drive/directory on the network and then do a copy from the shared drive to the Mac?
I've created a new user as advised in another thread. I'll eventually be installing Win7 w/Parallels to run a few of my Win only programs. |

Sounds good to me. Especially if you're wired all the way, and if the PC has Gigabit Ethernet (and your mini will); it should be pretty quick. (Assuming you haven't got a 100Mbps switch in the way?!) _________________ Martin at HeadSpin HD now on Blu-ray |
