As already mentioned OWC (a company that specialises in providing upgrades for Mac products) has verified it works. If you look at the benchmark page linked to earlier you'll see what difference having 16GB RAM is likely to make.

thanks for the reply. i think ill give it a shot. im going to buy the memory from newegg as their return policy is so nice. ill report back.
so much for a "cheap" mini. after 16gb ram 2 128 ssd and the i7 upgrade this is going to me more $ than a mac pro. although it might be faster than the "current" (nahalem old) mac pro also. |

Also, Philip has posted two sets of screenshots at the linked thread showing the system recognizing 16GB of memory.
