Other World Computing today announced the availability of their 4GB and 8GB DDR3 1333MHz Memory Upgrade Kits for all new Mid 2011 Mac mini models. The OWC 4GB DDR3 1333MHz Memory Kit (2 x 2GB matched memory modules) is priced at $38.97. That represents a $60 savings over the factory 4GB option from Apple. The OWC 8GB DDR3 1333MHz Memory Kit (2 x 4GB matched memory modules), on the other hand, is priced at $84.99. This represents a savings of up to 76% versus the factory installed 8GB option.
"We're very pleased to immediately offer new mini owners memory upgrades with dramatic savings versus factory options," said Larry O'Connor, Founder and CEO, Other World Computing. "We're also looking forward in the near future to continuing our streak of providing memory upgrades for these new minis that offer up to double the factory maximum RAM."
