Hi,
with my new MBP Arriving soon, I am moving my 2009 Mac Mini to an HTPC job. I will run plex on it most of the time (I have Apple Remote) so I wont need to have a keyboard or a mouse attached to it (I don't have the space for them either).
The thing is that, eventually, I will need to access the OS. I will run an Apache Tomcat Based WebPage, hosted on the Mini.
I would like to remote control the mini, using some sort of VNC. I have tried the Mac os X share screen on my girlfriend MB, and it works fine, but sometimes I will need to access the Mac Mini from a PC (windows/linux), and I need something compatible.
Does anyone has experience setting up a VNC server on the Mini?. |

+1 for RealVNC - to drive a mini from.... a Vista PC.... shudder...
The VNC Server is, of course, built into OSX already.
System Prefs: Sharing: Computer Settings: VNC Viewers may control screen with password... _________________ Martin at HeadSpin HD now on Blu-ray |
