Some people say you should always repair permissions after an update.

Thanks I heard about that but I hardly ever do. It seems like every time I run it I get tons of repairs regardless. Even if I do it a day later. I may have altered things to much. |

I don't do it myself and I pretty much never have problems with stuff.

I think this will probably be the last one before Lion. Let's just hope the transition is as smooth.
BTW: I don't repair my permissions anymore. It doesn't seem to make much of a difference. |

There doesn't seem to be much written about experiences with this update. Have some of you done it yet? Any problems? _________________ Mini 1: 2.3 ghz Core i5; 8 gb RAM, Corsair 240gb SSD, 500 gb Seagate XT

No issues here, but only installed on my MBP and server. I have read about some issues regarding sound output so waiting on my HTPC. Users seem to have resolved by using kext from 10.6.7

No problems here. Anxiously awaiting Lion at this point. Just hope it comes out in early to mid July. I'll be out of the country after that for a month. |
