Okay first this is a nice piece of gear, but it has a slow 5400 rpm hdd in it. I have an Intel ssd soooooo I am looking to drop it in.
My problems are as follows. I purchased this laptop to learn windows 7. I have used mac osx only since windows 95! How do you clone a boot drive? My new intel ssd has a migration program that makes no sense at all.
Also this Laptop has a difficult to access hdd.
It does have usb3 so does windows 7 allow usb 3 booting?
I have a nice newer tech guardian maximus mini I also have a siig usb 3 to esata dongle It would be nice to use this as a boot drive. Any info about windows would help even a simple cloner like superduper. _________________ 2010 Mm 2.4 C2D oem 320gb hdd 8gb ram

I've used Winclone successfully, to move a windows partition on a mac drive. Not sure what application does it in a windows environment. It would only be a guess, but I would think it would boot from USB. _________________ 2.0 GHz i7 Mini 8 GB RAM, OWC Merc Extreme SSD & Samsung Spinpoint
