Not having Airport Base or Time Capsule, or any other 'Always-on' Bonjour device, I was wondering if there was any so called 'Magic Packet software' out there, to Wake for Network Access, that works on 10.6.7?
There seems to be a bit of much older stuff, but nothing reasonably up to date.

Their is a Dashboard Widget called Wake ON LAN.
I don't have any experience with it, though.
HERE is the developers web site.

Thanks billb. Works like a charm. It not only can wake up a networked Mac, but can put one to sleep as well!!! Brilliant Smile
