Disable login prompt when acessing shared files?

Hi guys,

I am running Snow Leopard on a Mac Mini and accessing files from an XP server on my home network. Until recently the Mac Mini opened the XP server drives upon booting up automatically. Now it prompts me to login to access the XP drives each time. There are two options: "registered user" and"guest". I click "guest" and can access the XP drives but I want to disable this annoying prompt. How do I do this? Thanks for any help.
