I know it's possible to set custom ring tones for my iPhone 3GS but is there anyway to set custom text message (SMS) tones on my iPhone 3GS without jailbreaking?

Why is this not an added feature yet? It seems ridiculous it isn't built into iOS. Mayb 4.3 will bring it.
