Dew guy, thanks for that article. I really doubt it's the power supply, because the unit is getting constant power. But who knows? It tries to boot from the DVD that's stuck in it for quite a while and then I hear the hard drive spinning and it stays on indefinitely, with sleep light constant. I took out the ram yesterday, and although it does not beep or make a warning sound, the sleep light flashes, which indicates there is no ram inside. I've tried all the various combinations of ram in switching slots, one slot empty, new ram, etc... _________________ iMac 27" 3.06 8GB ATI 4670 1TB HD
