| I have an older ibook G3 500 and was wondering if anyone has used the mini with VNC and the ibook controlling it. Does it work very well and is the speed good? Just thinking to use the Mini as a video unit for my bands show and not having to bring out a monitor/key/mouse extra. Also cheaper than a powerbook. |

I run OSXvnc on my Mini and connect to it at home from work via an ssh tunnel and it is actually usable. I can browse the web, etc, so if it's usable over an internet link, it should be more than usable on a local LAN.
