I always keep a Swiss Army Knife with built-in scissors and screwdriver handy in my desk drawer. You can even get one with a built-in USB flash drive. Ask Santa for one!

I've bought 2 IKEA cable gutters, as mentioned in my initial post.
The mess under my desk is gone now  I'm really pleased with the outcome.

| for christmas my son got so many toys that have twist ties... i am cutting them to size and tying up all my cables. looking very nice so far. ill submit a picture of my updated setup later. |
