I visit an astronomy forum and download various pictures. First I would resize the pictures when moving them from iPhoto to downloads. Then when posting to the astronomy forum I would get to a certain point when I would choose file for down loading. But now when I hit "choose file" when the next window opens the file list is in a muted gray color and can't be opened.I had no trouble downloading pictures before, now all of a sudden I can not access my pictures. What change?! I have been playing around now for several hours trying to get my picture files to download but no luck. What must I do? Thank you for any help. Do you mean "upload" image files to a server?
Have you tried rebooting? |

I have since discovered that it is only one website my computer refuses to upload pictures to. So something is either not switched on or some security protocol is preventing pictures uploading from my computer to the forum. Mike Traub _________________ Retired and broke!!!!!!!!!! |

Have you read the forum rules for uploading images?
Are you using a compatible file format?
Is the file size too large?
Instead of trying to upload images to the forum, upload them to www.pictiger.com (or similar free image hosting site) then put a link to the image in your forum post. |

I had been uploading pictures to CN (forum) for quite sometime. Then suddenly I couldn't upload to that one particular forum any more. I tried to figure out what changed and couldn't. Mike Traub _________________ Retired and broke!!!!!!!!!! |
