I recently got a new Mini (with an all new iLife suite, of course) and discover that I absolutely loathe the version of iMovie that is on it now (iMovie '11). I miss the old iMovie HD 6 that I used to have on my old computer. But I understand you can't get, or even install that any more.
What are my alternatives? Do I really have to buy Final Cut Express and drop $200 so I can have a timeline based editing system I can understand? The new version of iMovie sucks - so hard to understand and use, and it's like they took some capabilities away.
