Games on boot camp thru mini display port to hdmi?? Help.

I'm using a Mini Display port to HDMI adater to my 50 inch plasma all working perfect for HTPC

I have a few PC games that I'd like to run off boot camp on my bigscreen.

Gear Used -
Mac Mini Late 2009
Logitech diNovo Keyboard Mac Edition Wireless Keyboard
Kanex iAdapt 20 Mini DisplayPort to HDMI w/2 Channel Audio
Panasonic plasma

Problem 1-
I partitioned part of hardrive for bootcamp windows xp, installed windows xp, now for some odd reason I get a black screen as if XP is not recognizing my display thru the minidisplayport adapter.

Problem 2
It was rather difficult to use the diNovo bluetooth keyboard (the mouse would not operate/ scroll). Big pain in the ass trying to complete the windows install process, typing and enter worked fine the mouse part of the keyboard did'nt.

Basically, I can not get boot camp up and running with the above mentioned hardware and I dont have a monitor or a apple keyboard. Any help would be very much appreciated.
