|
|
Ok so I acquired another flash drive so far in college and it has a CD-ROM partition I can't seem to get rid of, I can make Win 7 Pro ignore it and Linux doesn't acknowledge it, however my MBP sees it all the time, I would rather get rid of it as it is unseen by XBOX 360's and a few computers due to the CD-ROM partition I suspect. While I would like to find a Mac solution I do have Linux, Windows 7 pro 64-bit an OS 10.6 to use. _________________ "You must control your future by taking command of your present, and fixing and learning from your past."

What brand flash drive is it? Some companies like Sandisk have that stupid U3/partition crap on it. They make a specific tool to get rid of it. _________________ MacMini 2.0GHz C2D (2009)

It's a generic flash drive so there is no official tool, it's a 1 GB flash drive with a CD-ROM partition on it that has a couple files. _________________ "You must control your future by taking command of your present, and fixing and learning from your past."

Sadly the spammers are here to stay without any admins around to clean up.
Its sad to see, as this forum was one of my favourite haunts, but I really do get fed up with spam. So my visits to this forum are a lot less frequent than they used to be. I also don't post as often as I find I get fed up seeing the spam posts and just end up clicking "Mark All Forums Read" and give up reading the new posts. I know it's me being stupid but I hate clicking on spam links as it feels like I'm condoning what the idiots stand for. I'd rather just move on than click on more of them.
I've also noticed a lot of the other long standing members aren't around as much these days either _________________ Phil

I have found it frustrating to visit these past few months, as well. Wish there was some way to get even with these people doing all the littering. _________________ Mac Book 2.1 Ghz (Penryn) 10.6.7 4Gb DDR2
