New iPod Touch - GPS?

Does the new iPod have a GPS chip so I can run my (sailing) navigation apps? I use my iphone frequently, but hate to risk using it, plus using up the battery. I'm often using my app on shore, checking out local charts. I checked Apples site, but if they mentioned it, I missed it.

There is supposed to be a cradle that be used with the iPod Touch. I don't think that Dual provides an API for developers to use the information though, so you might be stuck with the Dual app.
