HDMI splitter

My HD Panasonic TV(1080i) has only one HDMI port which is already used by my PlayStation 3. If I buy the new Apple TV and get an HDMI splitter, how will it affect the graphics/image ?

Is there a better brand than the others ?

don't buy anything just yet. please give us the make and model number of the panny tv. some panny tv's have a vga input for pc/macs and the hdmi will not work for a computer.

if that is the case you do not need a 2010 mac mini you can buy a 2009 mini since the 2010 mini's hdmi won't work and the 2009 mini will run vga hook up better then the 2010 will. We can't help without the panny's model number.

Are there any success with splitters or distribution amplifiers to check their 7D For me it does not work very well. Have not tried with 2 monitors the same size again, but with a 24 and a small top-mounted monitor it does not seem to work very well. The image on the big screen at the same size as the smaller one for one reason or another, make the largest screen almost useless.
