Well, as the topic indicates, I'd really like to know is it just me or there are many others out there who agree with me on following issues despite full system updated on Mac Mini (Mid 2010):

1. Slow tracking
2. Way too much travel on the click.
3. Clicking is loud and requires slightly more force.
4. Different way of movement on different surfaces.

??? I don't understand questions 12and3? Maybe you can clarify. Tracking is adjustable. and no to 2 and 3. For 4, the MM works great on a small pillow on my sofa. maybe on a desk it's very different??
I know I am in the minority, but I think the Magic Mouse is the best Mac controller Apple has ever made. I had the Magic trackpad for a week and sold it. I greatly prefer moving a pointer with a mouse rather than a finger on the trackpad.

For me the MM does everything I want for my use. With the BetterTouchTool add-on, any control/gesture I could want is possible. I surf the web on my sofa with my Mini in the entertainment cabinet to a 52" HDTV.
I love it.

I really like the magic mouse. My complaint is with how it goes wild in InDesign.

I bought it and I am not a fan either. I've had it since May and maybe used it 5-10 times.

The click is much harder to press and it sometimes wants to scroll when I try to click. Also when I try to scroll, it sometimes will not scroll at all. I've also noticed a dramatic decrease in battery life compared to the old wireless mighty mouse.

Maybe I got a bad one as well.

Not unhappy here. For me, the MM works great. I've got it set up on a Mac Pro though (not sure if there's a difference) that I use across two 30" ACDs and it works great. I had to bump up the tracking a bit to get it to cross 5000 pixels quickly without having to move it from one end of the desk to the other, but that's it.

It does have quirks, like inadvertent panning/scrolling in apps like Illustrator, but that's about it. Have not had any other problems with it.

I used to use a Intuos 4 daily, but after having purchased the MM, I only use it for design work. Like gigaguy, I also got a Magic Trackpad but retired it quickly since it's just not all that great when you have large screen real estate to traverse quickly (and accurately).
