Very true Cypher, and if I do attach four 20-inchers to a quad monitor bracket, my desk would start to look exactly like that.
I wonder whether a Mac Pro could be made to drive 6 displays? _________________ Intel Mini 2.0GHz C2D (4GB/120GB/SuperDrive/10.5.8 ), 120GB WD Passport, Logitech ergo k/b

Thats one thing I do miss since I switched to the Mac. I ran with a three monitor setup in my windows days and now struggle with only two _________________ Phil

Is 'available desk space' still the thing that's holding you back from getting a third screen? _________________ Intel Mini 2.0GHz C2D (4GB/120GB/SuperDrive/10.5.8 ), 120GB WD Passport, Logitech ergo k/b

I already have three screens on my desk, two for the iMac and one for my old windows PC in my desk / windows laptop from work hooked up to a docking station but its rarely, if ever, that I turn any of these on nowadays.
I have looked at going the USB video card route to gain the third monitor but at the moment other priorities have taken my ££ such as Drobo, Mac Mini, new HDD's etc. Next on my list is a larger second monitor after that I may look at the third monitor option _________________ Phil

"Graphics
Configure your Mac Pro with high-performance PCI Express graphics cards from AMD. The ATI Radeon HD 5770 is up to 5x faster than the previous-generation standard graphics card. Or select the ATI Radeon HD 5870 for even more advanced graphics work. Configure your Mac Pro with two cards to power up to six displays simultaneously for visualization projects and large display walls.
Note: If both the Mac Pro RAID Card and Fibre Channel card options are selected, only a single graphics card can be installed.

Cool. Let's tell Terry Pratchett that he can switch to OS X without losing his monitors! _________________ Intel Mini 2.0GHz C2D (4GB/120GB/SuperDrive/10.5.8 ), 120GB WD Passport, Logitech ergo k/b
