I was watching a show called Departures. The guys visited an old man and woman living in Pripyat (Chernobyl). They are supposedly the ONLY people living there. The government granted them power because of the incident and their choice to stay. There is one line running to their house. It goes for miles.
Maybe there's hope for them getting internet some day.
In all seriousness, this is pretty sad. We complain that our high speed isn't fast enough |
