New trackpad and MBP update

I just got a new update for my MBP that enables hyper scrolling, I think that's what they called it, anyway it works pretty good and reminds me of scrolling on a iPhone. It primarily is for the new trackpad, but includes the MBP trackpad as well.

I've been wondering about this on my MBP. It's a mid '09 and does the multitouch and all that jazz, but I don't get the scrolling thing?

I have a mid 2009 MBP also and love the new update as it allows you to swipe your fingers down or up fast and then remove them from the trackpad and the page will continue to scroll depending on the speed of the swipe. Also I just find the whole trackpad more smooth in operation. I'm pretty sure it does something else new since the update, but don't know what.

I'd better check for this update then, funny I did an update this morning but I didn't get the new scrolling. It was something that appealed to me when I'd used it on demos in stores.

Just did the second lot of updates today, and it works now. Excellent.
