you are correct. so less then 4 hours after I spot it the price jumped.
too bad the seller does not look good doing that. my mini is coming next week looks like he lost my 87.77. I will say I do a lot of purchasing from superbiiz.com they change the price on 4gb ram sticks almost every day. They are based in the same city. San Jose CA. I will clock this seller for the next 2 weeks he may sell the same way. _________________ 2010 Mm 2.4 C2D oem 320gb hdd 8gb ram

right now his super sale for apple care is on mac pro $135 instead of 250.
I think he moves the big sale around I will check him again at 9:00pm east coast time. It may be like refurbs you need to catch it just right to save. _________________ 2010 Mm 2.4 C2D oem 320gb hdd 8gb ram

I bought my iMac G4 from them years ago. They are a good company because of
goods employees. Its a shame the price jumped when you blinked. _________________ 2011 Mac mini 2.7 GHz i7 with

Thats a great little shop Phil, I usually buy online though, so I dont really have a need to go there. I'm surprised though, you're an eBay fan, whats wrong with this for $60? _________________ Mercury TiBook 400MHz, 1GB RAM, 120GB HD, Airport

I have bought applecare on ebay many times over the years. But never for my 3 minis (of course one was used and not eligible).
I make my living as a macintosh computer consultant and have installed several minis for clients. To date, I haven't felt they need an extended warranty.
But it's sounding like the forum members here think AppleCare for the Mini is a good thing. Has it really been unreliable for some people?
Or is it just that the feeling is: If you can get the coverage cheaply enough, it's cheap insurance. |

I think its worth it before the warranty runs out, as any major problem requires a new Mac Mini, so the extra insurance is worth the peace of mind. _________________ Retired: Altair 8800, PET, TI 99/4A, Apple II

I suggest you get the box. The box has a serial number, sometimes Apple asks for the serial number if there is a dispute. The reseller could easily resell the Registration number and serial number again and you have little proof that you legitimately own the product.
When we sell AppleCare at my store, we scan both the serial number and the registration number. |
