Hi Everyone,
A colleague of mine brought in his iphone 3g it has a completely white screen with a vertical green line down the left hand side.
I purchased a new LCD from flea bay and fitted it; however I never checked it and I don't know if there has been a crack in the bottom left before or after install, I have included an image below.
The question I have is would a crack on the LCD cause the screen to be that white with lines all over? If so then I will simply order another from flea bay and check to make sure this time it is ok before fitting.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

LCD's are a matrix of interconnected pixels. When you damage one section you damage just about the entire thing, unfortunately. _________________ Core 2 duo 2.0 Mini on a 26" Sharp LC-26GD4U GO CANES!!!! |

Sometimes you get lucky and you will just damage a small portion of the screen but the majority of the time you destroy the whole thing _________________ MacBook Pro 15" 2.5ghz 4g ram 200g HDD
