Hi, just installed the new safari5 and found it pretty good to browse web again. So kind of like to use and have both FF and Safari on hand. Since FF has been my primary browser and all important site links are in FF Bookmarks, I'll need to import bookmarks from FF to Safari. Is this possible? How to do it? (I tried from Safari - File - Import bookmark ... no avail; don't know from what folder to import...)
Any help is appreciated. |

| Don't know if FF is supported by xMarks, but you can try that. Then your bookmarks will also be sync'd throughout your home and office. |

Thanks, Lion. Yes, xMarks supports both FF and safari. I had to download and install both versions for FF and safari to sync them (with FF bookmarks as the base). It works fine except the security/privacy worry concerning the online My xMarks account set as a backup database. So still looking for a straight method to import FF bookmark to Safari (since as described in my original post, under safari - File - Import bookmark ...). Any idea? |
