Apple Updates White MacBook

Apple quietly updated the white 13-inch MacBook today. The new model features a 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo processor with a 1066MHz frontside bus, 2GB DDR3 memory, 250GB hard drive, NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics and a built-in 10-hour battery. The rest of the specs for this model have pretty much remained the same. The new white MacBook is available now from the Apple Store for $999.

| And it supposedly combines audio and video over DisplayPort to HDMI. The mini should be next! |

So, can anyone guess how long it will be before the Mac mini gets the nVidia 320M?

Hopefully not long! I have been itching and waiting extremely patiently for about 4 or 5 months now. For me, I need to buy my first computer, but I am able to hold off for half maybe another 5 months at the very latest.
With the new macbook, I'm guessing it's only a matter of time, 2-3 months at the very latest. I think it's pretty clear that the mini will follow with a faster processor, 320m, and a video/audio display port. Hopefully they will have a processor option that will actually be worth the upgrade price.
Yay! Hurry up apple, we're waiting.  |
