Can make calls out but not receive calls

I'm in Australia.

It appears although I can call out, my iPhone is not receiving calls from landline or mobiles.

I can send & receive SMS.

Other similar problems have been related to users moving between networks, but I've been with my provider for 9 years.

In addition, calls aren't being forwarded to Voicemail. When I try to access the mailbox, it seems I don't exist.

Anyone know what's wrong please?

Everything else on the phone seems to be working OK and it's not jailbroken.

This has been going on for a week but I didn't realise till I received mean msg & mail from people I've 'ignored'.

Oh – forgot to mention: my 3G iPhone had its first birthday yesterday, so the warranty has run out.

Sigh.

BTW, I don't owe the phone company any money & there's no user support on Sundays.

As per my knowledge the the calling services may be barred due to any reason but actually I want what is the message by the IVR when you attempt to call.You can defiantely call to your customer support and get the reason.
