Apple Intros Beta of Next MobileMe Mail
Thursday, May 13, 2010

Apple has announced that they are introducing a new beta program for their next MobileMe Mail web application. Users of MobileMe can log into their account and request an invitation. Apple will then send you an email once you have been accepted into the beta program. They also have an FAQ if you should have any questions.
Today we're introducing the beta of an all new MobileMe Mail web application, and we're asking you to try it and let us know what you think. You can sign up at me.com by just logging in to MobileMe Mail and clicking "Request an invitation." You will receive an email notification when you have been added to the beta and can start using it.

| Read a rumor that MobileMe could be going free soon. It would be nice if true. |

Either way this will be my last year of paying for it.
I've bought it for the last three years but I don't really see it as good value for money.
I like the syncing in mobile me, but thats about the only feature I need. Dropbox does me for app settings and data syncing etc, and I have my own domains for email and websites. _________________ Phil

| I may try drop box just not sure I want to type in my admin password for them to acess my computer. I am paranoid I guess still got that pc in me. Its fading though. I don't want to be to careless I wouldn't put anything in dropbox I wouldnt care for anyone else to see. I am more worried about them having rights to my computer. |

I'd be interested if I could use my domain name email account, last thing I really need is one more email address. If Google can do it I'm sure the Apple folks can too. _________________ iMac 24" 2.4 GHz 4GB | Logitech S530 | Z-2300 speakers | NewerTech Guardian MAXimus RAID
