Apple Announces Headphone Replacement Program

Apple has launched a new headphone replacement program for owners of the third-generation iPod shuffle. According to the company, some of the Apple Headphones with Remote that were included with third-generation iPod shuffles made between February 2009 and February 2010 may fail under certain conditions. Symptoms would include controls that are non-responsive, unexpected volume changes, or unexpected voice feedback. It should also be noted that the headphone replacement program covers their standalone accessory Apple In-Ear Headphones with Remote and Mic and Apple Earphones with Remote and Mic. So, if you've experienced any of these issues, you should definitely contact Apple for a replacement. Just know that you have two years to do so from your purchase date.
