Been a pc fan since I was a kid. Tired of how LOUD it was, all the maintenance, all the little parts I needed to buy, etc. So on Friday I bought me a mini. YAY!
Anyways, On PC, I used this software called Internet Download Manager. Which I think is one of the best download managers out their for the pc. Checking the software, it's not compatible with the MACs.
What Standalone Download Manager do you guys suggest? I'll use the Download Manager to queue many links. I use RAPIDSHARE a lot.
Thanks! |

I use jdownloader. It works perfectly with a premium RS account.
Once the program is started, the only thing you need to do is copy the RS links all in one shot in Safari. This makes the program check if there are dead links. Then one chooses 'properties', enters the rar password, clicks on 'continue' and jdownloader will start downloading and spreads the links over the various RS servers to increase download speed. It will unrar automatically, too.
It's so convenient I can't imagine any better downloader exists for RS. _________________ Mac mini 2,1 2.33Ghz C2D with 1TB 12mm internal HDD / 2GB RAM / Broadcom Crystal HD Mini PCIe
