Well now it doesn't warn me that my swap partition doesn't mount and just boots anyway, though it gives a video error that started with the later kernals of 9.10. _________________ "You must control your future by taking command of your present, and fixing and learning from your past."

I could not get it to fresh install (my video card was giving me grief) so I had to 10GB WUBI on my XP box. Everything went smooth after that. I don't think it's any faster though and I immediately changed the theme to clearlooks blue (I'm over the orange).
I'm running on an old machine. AMD 1.7ghz 1 gb ram 40GB hd w/ 128 GeForce 5200 128mb video card.
The bootup takes about 40seconds to boot, about 10 to shut down. Maybe if I maxed my machine out I could tell the difference.
