It doesn't look like there will be any new products today, but I'm excited to see OS 4. I hope those new MacBook Pros drop next week though. I'm getting tired of waiting.

They are multi-tasking with Pandora playing in the background. That's all I really wanted. I'm sold now too. _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)

Wow! It looks like they have addressed so many of the shortcomings. I'm really excited about the multitasking and folders. Having a folder to group things will be so much better.

I'm loving mine, but that's crazy long down the road. _________________ 1.42GHz Mac mini

I'm not sure what limits multitasking from the 3G model, other than it might not be as snappy, but that has me a little upset.

I can't understand why it's going to take so long for it to come to the iPad. It looks and sounds awesome though.

would you like Ads with that.. NO THANKS
seems like Apple have found a way to make big bucks off free apps and a way to annoy all of their customers to boot.
OS 4 sounded really good until then. although I think I have a second gen iPod touch so I'd probably not get most of it. _________________ Phil

I would rather pay up to $2.99 for an app and never see an add again. I don't care how fancy schmancy they are. Everything else sounds killer.

The lure of advertising in the booming mobile device market is great. Google is a huge player and Apple wants to get in that door.
mixed reaction on the 4.0 upgrades, of course, they were inevitable, but I have enjoyed those and more on my jailbroke iPhone, (and no ATT contract).
Apple just devalued the (non-jailbroken) 2g/3G iPhones and 1G/2G iPod touches. the biggest updates will not be allowed on those because they don't have the 'processing power'.,
funny, those features work fine on my jail free 3G iPhone now. |
