Perian 1.2.1 Released

The Perian team has announced the release of Perian 1.2.1, an update to their QuickTime component that adds support for many popular video formats. According to the release notes, this version of the software brings support for Indeo 5 decoding and includes a number of important bug fixes. This would include the following:
- Fixed several bugs in Matroska support
- Incomplete AVI files were not fully imported
- Fixed subtitles crashing in 10.4
- Fixed a rare crash with .mp4
- No error was shown if the installer somehow failed
- Note that it does not try to correct errors, only report them
- Fixed crash in SSA support
- Fixed invisible subtitles sometimes appearing over the first frame
The Perian 1.2.1 update weighs in at 3.3MB and requires Mac OS X 10.4.7 or later.
