As many people probably know, if you have bluetooth and Snow Leopard you can use a ps3 controller with your mac. There are a few steps though.
First download and install the USB driver for the ps3 controller for os x.
Then plug in the controller via USB, press the center switch on the controller, unplug it, then press the PS switch again. It should connect via bluetooth. All 4 lights on the controller will flash but it's OK it should still work.
Finally set up the controller using an emulator. I found that GamePad Companion does NOT work, but ControllerMate works perfectly. It's a tricky program to use, but there are good tutorials on their website. Well worth the $15 registration fee. It tried it first in demo to make sure it would work.
Now I'm playing Doom 3 in style! |
