|
|
I'm very happy with my mini (mid-2007, 2GHz, 2 GB RAM) as it is, but not happy with the Word for Mac (trial) version that I recently tried out. The main reason for trying it out is that I used Word (for Windows) quite a lot for making drawing on a 1 mm background grid. Unfortunately, this feature is virtually invisible in the Word for Mac version, so I'm thinking about how to keep use the Word for Windows version that I still got. Unfortunately I only have Windows XP without the SP 1 and 2, so maybe an emulation solution is cheaper/easier?
Thanks in advance for any advice! |

It is possible that the Wine emulator would work for you. http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=520
Otherwise try VirtualBox. It is free but does most of what VMWare/Parrallels does. Bootcamp works but I don't like to have to re-boot just to run one application. |

Thanks a lot - I'll have a close look at that and give it a try! |
