Good news World Cup fans. ITV will launch a free app on 6/11 to stream ITV1 and ITV2 to your iPhone so you can watch your favorite teams battle it out.
I think this might be only for U.K. iPhone users. 
Location Spoof or VNC might be a soultion for the rest of us.

There is already a free site to stream live UK TV (most major channels) to an iPhone/iPod touch - but... UK only.
Ignore the confusing/misleading "catchup" bit of the URL - it's live, really.
http://iphone.tvcatchup.com - NOTE: iPhone/iPod touch in UK ONLY!!
(There is also http://tvcatchup.com/ for desktops though!)
