Marcel Bresink Software today announced the release of TinkerTool 4.0, a major update of their system utility that provides access to hidden preferences in Mac OS X. According to the company, TinkerTool 4.0 has been completely rewritten and uses new technologies for its core and user interface. It also includes many new preferences for Snow Leopard and QuickTime X, which you can learn about here in the release notes. TinkerTool 4.0 weighs in at 1.4MB and requires Mac OS X 10.3.8 or later.

I've been a user in the past and appreciate the effort, but something seems way off with the fonts in Tinkertool now. They look all jagged and disfigured to me. _________________ 14" 1.25GHz G4 iBook (died)
