Briefly: HippoRemote Pro 2.0 and Adobe Reader 9.3.1

RoboHippo has announced the release of HippoRemote Pro 2.0 for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. It's a major update to their remote control application that brings a host of new features and improvements. I'm talking about everything from new Browser, Twitter and Boxee plugins to custom profiles, link launching and global macros for automating common tasks. It's available now from the App Store for $4.99. In other news, Adobe announced the release of Adobe Reader 9.3.1. This update addresses critical security vulnerabilities and provides more stability. It's pretty much recommended for all users of the software.

Hippo 2 sounds like a nice update. I'll have to check it out. _________________ 1.42GHz Mac mini

| Can you actually navigate Boxee from the app or does it just show album art? I would love to have something like the Remote app for Boxee. |

| What can Adobe Reader do that "Preview" cannot? From what I can tell, nothing. |

It just shows the album art for what ever is playing. That doesn't take away from the other features though. I think it's the best remote out there for Boxee. |

| HippoRemote has a couple unique features, but the free app from Boxee basically does the same thing. It doesn't require any server software to be running in the background either. |
