Thought this might be the best place to put this.
I have discovered a very nice little app that takes DMG files, such as your OS X disk and converts them into a ISO file that can be read and burned on a PC.
It's handy for those situations where your Mac doesn't have a DVD burner at the ready, but your PC does.
I used it today.

or here.

It's only 1mb in size...but well worth getting a copy.
A simple drag & drop was all it took.
Cheers

So it was able to make an ISO from your OS X dvd disc? I could use something like it, since my Mini doesn't have a dvd burner.
Thnx. _________________ G4 Mac Mini | 1.25ghz | 1gb | 40gb | OS X 10.4.11 | 37" Westinghouse HDTV

Hi Ghosty.
Yep...
It's a useful tool.
It is able to turn that ISO into a bootable OS X disk.
On another front, I've created bootable copies of 2000, XP-Pro-SP-3, Vista & Windows 7, but that was on a Mac that had a DVD burner.
If your going to use a Windows machine to do the burning, I'd recommend you use 'DeepBurner'. I have found it to be highly reliable.
There is barely any difference between their Pro version & their free version.

PS
The next thing I'd like to do, is create a bootable emergency OS X disk that has most of the extraneous language packs & other un-needed software etc removed and alternative utilities added like Onyx, Cocktail etc added in their place. _________________ Of the four X systems in the world.
