Not a new Mac user; currently have a iMac 24" but just ordered a refurb Mac Mini 2.26 which will will be hooked up to become my HTPC. Ordered an adapter and cables from Monoprice, and I'll route a network cable to it eventually. I've got an old Logitech MX5000 Bluetooth Keyboard and Laser Mouse that I picked up from Woot.com that I hope will work, its not perfect but should do the trick.
Current setup with my iMac is a Macally FW400 drive with 500GB Time Machine disk, and a NewerTech Guardian MAXimus with two 1TB drives RAID 1. Will be looking to move that to two 2TB drives and then move one to a FW800 box hooked up to the Mini eventually. |
