I'm not ready to buy my 13" MBP yet, so if they want to stretch it out for another month, that would be fine with me...
(Hoping they update the MBP lineup simultaneously with whatever it is they are launching, avg update is every 200 days, last I checked it was at 220 something since last update...) _________________ --Marcus

That's pretty funny. I liked the picture of the UI. |

I bet they do stretch the i5 models out another month. It doesn't make much sense to release them on the same day. The news of their release would just be overshadowed. Not with us, but you get the point. |

If the device uses the OS X kernel, then "Newton" would be running "Darwin" _________________ Intel Mini 2.0GHz C2D (4GB/120GB/SuperDrive/10.5.8 ), 120GB WD Passport, Logitech ergo k/b

We'll see tomorrow...
I still have to find a storage solution for the junk on my mini. I wanted to do a Time Capsule since I don't have wireless n in the house yet and knock out two birds with one stone. However, as far as I've seen thus far, partitioning the drive on the TC takes A LOT of work. I just don't have the time. Why partition it? To use about 250gig's for media storage to be accessible from the MBP, the Mini and any other future machines, I might even try out an Apple TV at some point. The other ~750gig for time-machine backups for the same machines. _________________ --Marcus

12. People start talking about the next update.
Okay, what did I miss? |
WOW... you totally hit the nail on the head with all of those predictions. I can see all of those things you mentioned ALL happening after the Tablet is announced or released. _________________ Mac Mini 2.0 Ghz

Thanks Bandit Bill... much appreciated
I was actually hoping for a video feed like some sites have done before like Engadget but I guess not for this event. _________________ Mac Mini 2.0 Ghz

Gizmodo seems to have better and quicker coverage right now:
