I think that it is time to call Apple.

On the other hand, maybe it is working? Double check your Finder Preferences to show SHARED "Connect servers" and "Bonjour computers"

Still no luck. I will be calling Apple. Since the internet works fine I am beginning to think there is a hardware problem with the USB connector on the AEBS.

I'll give that a try. Thanks.

Ten minutes later. Nope. Didn't work.

As Inspector Clouseau would say "problem solve-ed".

Called Apple and got the solution. USB drives have to be mounted manually on the desktop of the Mini. Here is how to do it just in case anyone else has a problem with this issue.

Go to the Finder Window. Click on the "Go" command.

Scroll down to the "Connect Server" command. Type in "10.0.1.1"

This will bring up another window that requires your AEBS password. Type your PW. Click Connect. Then you should be connected to the Disc on the AEBS.

Back to the Finder Window. Go to General and then under "Show These Items Under Desktop" make sure the "Connect to Servers" feature is checked. Then you should be able to see the Disk not only in the "Shared" column on the left side of the Finder window but also on the Mini Desk top.

Glad to hear you got it working. Sorry about skipping over needing to tell the mini to connect to the drive, I thought you were trying that already and it wasn't working.
