I just ordered this new external drive.
Does anybody uses it?
I am curious to find any users of this drive.
Is it a decent option for an external drive?

Thanks for any replies.

I have the 320GB version of that same drive. I use it on my Power Mac, not on my Mac Mini, but I can safely say that it is OS X and Mac friendly and it is also bootable via Firewire.

The drive came with a CD containing Dantz Retrospect. It installs a kernel extension on the Mac. It also caused my Mac to kernel panic. I have deleted Dantz Retrospect from my system with extreme prejudice.

Thank you for your reply.
So, i DONT install Dantz retrospect, and everything will go smoothly.
Basically, i will use it as the main hard drive(boot drive) for mac mini.

Ranter is dead on right. If you need backup software, check out SuperDuper.
