Apple Releases Java Updates for Snow Leopard and Leopard

Apple has released Java for Mac OS X 10.6 Update 1 and Java for Mac OS X 10.5 Update 6 via their Software Update utility and website. According to the company, Java for Mac OS X 10.6 Update 1 delivers improved reliability, security, and compatibility for Java SE 6. The update weighs in at 78MB and requires Mac OS X 10.6.2. Java for Mac OS X 10.5 Update 6 delivers improved reliability, security, and compatibility for J2SE 5.0 and Java SE 6. This update weighs in at 122MB and requires Mac OS X 10.5.8.
