|
|
sorry if im in the wrong section for this question about iweb but i cant fix this problem since i dont understand how it works, so here goes the dumb question:
ive created my webpage with iweb and now the moment comes for me to publish it online but i dont have an URL (a free one if possible).
maybe i missed something under the iweb settings, because i beleive there is 3 choices:
- mobileme (60 days try-out not activated)
- ftp (dont know how it works)
- local folder (my actual settings)
when i publish my index page, i can visualise as a preview but no website recognizes it since the link goes like this:
HD/my documents/my webpage/soundzen/index.html
it should read instead "http://www..." right? im afraid all url are paid for or maybe free ones have a limited space for my webpage or yet i need to built my pages with their own tools like geocities or wix!
who has a personal page and has it up and running under a free URL? _________________ apple ipod touch 4th gen. 8Gb |

yes, normally they would give you a limited amount of space on their servers as part of your account. _________________ Phil
