Hey you guys i just ran across a website called allofmp3 its a russian ran website and seems to be borderline legal here. Id just like to hear some of your opinions about this subject, or if any of you use it how user friendly is it? Thank you.

seems very cheap. ($0.10 for a single)

not sure about its legality though. i think russia isnt subject to copyright laws??

i suppose at least you have to purchase the tunes from there and not just download em free.

i myself would use itunes though as i trust my details with apple but not that site.

I've been using AllOfMP3 for awhile now, and I can tell you they are legit. Since they are based in Russia, they aren't subject to U.S. copyright laws, so the RIAA can't stop them. It is still technically illegal for U.S. citizens to purchase copyrighted material from them, but the RIAA can't do anything about it.

I love the site too...whole albums for ~$1.50. I'm sorry, but I can't afford to pay $10 per album on iTunes.

Yea i was reading the faqs and it seems that there is a loophole. You can import goods from other countries without the copyright holders consent as long as you use it for personal use only and not 4 distribution
