Hubbell Mini Mount for Mac Mini
Monday October 31, 2005
Hubbell has introduced the Mini mount, an acrylic mounting base for the Mac mini. "As a home automation design and consulting company, we were faced with the challenge of placing our control system (a Mac mini) in just about any location that the customer wanted. The problem was that there was often no suitable place on a table surface and the Mac mini isn't very stable when placed on its side. So, we came up with the design of the Mini mount. Like the Mac mini, it's a simple, elegant, yet extremely functional design that serves its primary purpose, to put the Mac mini on the wall- and out of the way." The Hubbell Mini mount sells for $49.99. Hubbell also offers an optional backlighting kit for an additional $20.00. With the optional backlight kit, you can add a soft, white glow to the back of the Mac mini.

At least you won't have to worry about them getting jammed. Gravity is definitely on your side.
Personally, I don't think it's a good idea to vertically mount the Mac mini. _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)

If you put it upside-down (compared to the way they show it), it would be easier for the cables, too. But then, the nice Apple logo is upside-down. |
