My up-to-date upgrade showed September and then went to August. Then it went back to September and hasn't changed. I hope it changes back to August soon. I can't take the teasing anymore. Are they sure it's coming Friday? |

| Are any of you guys going to bother with installing Rosetta? I'm not sure yet, but I'm thinking about it for Office 2004. |

Snow Leopard cleans up some crap and gets rid of 6-7GB of files. _________________ MacMini 2.0GHz C2D (2009)

Snow Leopard is about half the size of Leopard. That means you're going to recapture approximately 7GB worth of space on your hard drive.
"Snow Leopard takes up less than half the disk space of the previous version, freeing about 7GB for you — enough for about 1,750 more songs3 or a few thousand more photos."

I'm not installing Rosetta. All of the applications I use are universal |

I ordered mine from Amazon paid in full with a Amazon Gift Card for $37.98 with 2-Day FEDEX Delivery! Like my grandma always say! Bird in hand is better than two or three in the bushes! People is trying to get theirs! We got ours paid for so just be patient! Plus we get to see everybody screw up so we know what not to do when we get ours! LOL! I keep you posted on my order! _________________ 24" LED Cinema Display,Mac Mini '09, 2.0GHz,

I checked my order nothing changed but one thing did change that may be positive to us. The changed from no picture of the box to the official Snow Leopard box today, so they are aware since they are Authorize by Apple they should be getting theirs in between now and Wednesday. To make sure they have it by Friday as well! _________________ 24" LED Cinema Display,Mac Mini '09, 2.0GHz,

There isn't anything wrong with iWork, but I'm creature of habit. I started with Office 2004 on the Mac and feel very comfortable with using the software. It's like an old shoe.

I'm not saying no, but I don't see how without being moved to 64-bit. |

Wow...
I'm about a year and a half into my first mac, and for $29.00 I have to give props to Apple. Windows updates are usually SKY high in price. $29.00 is nothing, I'll pay that to recover 6-7gb of hard drive space... _________________ --Marcus

Not that it matters, but has anyone been notified by email about Snow Leopard being ready? I signed up a couple weeks ago, but haven't received a thing. How do they expect us to know?
Oh well, I'm looking forward to kicking the tires around this weekend. I have to work all day on Friday though. |
