My cousin has a 12 inch powerbook that he never uses anymore. So what I am thinking is getting it from him soon, my Ibook is on the way out But the thing is, his Powerbook does not have wireless built in. What can I do to get wireless in the laptop? I dont think its running tiger either.

Since cardbus is out of the question, you'll need to use a USB dongle out the side like this (which gives you 802.11n) or install an AirPort Extreme card. But you're going to need at least Jaguar or Panther.

Is an extreme card tough to install? Or would a simple usb wireless be quicker..
