Apple has released iPhoto 8.1 via their Software Update utility and on the Web. According to the company, this update is recommended for all users of iPhoto '09 and includes several new print product options. We're talking the following:
- Hardcover books can now be ordered in a new extra-large (10" x 13") size
- Includes three new book themes with travel-oriented designs (Tropical, Asian, Old World)
- A variety of new holiday greeting cards themes are now available
iPhoto 8.1 weighs in at 160.40MB and requires Mac OS X 10.5.6 or later.

I hope my wife misses this update. She's a sucker for buying the books. _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)

| Nice little update. We love the print stuff around these parts. It's expensive, but the quality is incredibly nice. |

This reminds me, I still have a bunch of photo's sitting on 3 16gb flash cards that I've been "thinking" of moving to my Mac for the last 3 weekends. I guess this upcoming weekend could be a fun one |

That reminds me, I need to look around for a second SDHC card reader for my other Mac mini setup.
My Nikon point-and-shoot is so slow loading and importing pictures into iPhoto '09 with its proprietary USB/AV cable. _________________ 1.42GHz Mac mini
